Long day!!!!
In Reading we read our new novel, Taking Sides , which so far has about no plot at all worth telling! I think we're just getting to the good part...I hope!!!
In Science we worked on a lab. Yay! We got to squirt acid on some stuff and make it sizzle!!! YAY!!!
In Lunch, I sat at one of the long tables with...a lot of people. Like...Anndrea's table and Lorny and Sarah's table...combined!! YAY!!!
In Band, we practiced for our concert, which was tonight!!!! YAY!!! We had F-U-N! Okay, well, it wasn't out of the ordinary, but I guess it was pretty fun!
In Math, we did algebra. I LOVE ALGEBRA!!! No, I really do! It's like I'm some kind of freak! I like it!
In French, we didn't have as much fun as we did yesterday, but we started learning the body parts, because we are done with our food unit.
In Enrichment, we "worked on portfolios". Kyle got mad at me because he thought I liked Brad. Even if I did (which I don't!) why would he get so mad about it????? HUH?!? Erg.
Well, in Gym we played Kin-ball. Our team lost the tournament. But that's OK. I liked the team that won, anyways.
After that I went home until our band concert. We did pretty good!!!!
Okay, you may or may not have noticed that I'm a little happier than usual!!!!!!!!!! Well I can't tell you why...just because this is the internet and anyone can read this!! Someday I will tell you, I promise!

Lately....
Friday was our Odyssey of the Mind sleepover at Lindsassy's house, and Saturday was the competition. We took second place!!!!! Except that means we don't go to states oh well!! Now I have a little free time!!!
On Sunday Lorny, Sarah, and Vicky came over so we could do our Social Studies project. It's a video and it's so...interesting. Ha Ha Ha!!!
Brad stopped calling me names! Now he has a new girlfriend. There's been some interesting stories about them that I've tried not to believe, but I have to say that they're pretty darn believable! I won't tell you what they are for protection of who they're about...

Hey!
The past few days have been far from stress-free for me, but you know, you have some good days, you have some bad. Oh well! That's just the way it works.
Well on Monday, I took measures to break up with Brad. Well. He was not happy. But then again, if he was jumping for joy, I would be offending too. But he could have taken it better. Instead he called me some mean names, and once he was through with that, he called my friends some mean names too. Well, I expected him to call me mean names, but what really ticked me off was what he said about my friends-and then denied!!!!!! Ergh. Katie angry.
Yesterday he was still talking about me, although I doubt many take his side over mine! Or are not picking sides at all! At least I know a lot of people who were both our friends are not mad at me...but yesterday I cried. Silently in the middle of French class and no one noticed. I didn't even notice for awhile. It didn't last very long, though. I was so stressed out! There was so much work to do and Brad was spreading rumors about me...but after I cried I vowed never to let his mean words spoken rashly out of anger hurt me again. That would just satisfy him waaaay too much.
Today I was a little stressed out, but it wasn't Brad's actions and words that got to me.
In Reading we finished reading The Cay which is a story set in WWII when a boy is on a boat and it is sank (or is it sunk?) by a German submarine and he gets lost at sea with an old black man. At first the boy is prejudiced but then he goes blind (from a blow to the head) and they find land...but there's no one there. You know what? Just read the book yourself! Gosh!
In Science we took a test. Yay. I think I did pretty well, too!
Lunch: I wasn't feeling well so I didn't eat today...someone...we'll just name her JoAnna(not her real name) was being real nice to me and sat with us...you'll see this as an important detail in a moment.
Chorus. We sang. I love chorus. Yay!!!!
Math!!! We started part II of our NYS sample test. But really not much happened.
In French, we played BINGO and Sarah and I were the only ones who didn't win. . But Katherine gave us her prize (she won twice) and we were 
again!!!
In Enrichment we went to the book fair and I bought this book called The Haunting by Joan Lowery Nixon. It's really good! I had to try really hard to stop reading it after dinner because it's a thriller and I didn't want to nightmare about it. But I'm really into it!!! I will not describe this one yet...
In Gym we played Kin-Ball (don't ask) and I found out this:
Remember JoAnna?? Well Lorny told me that her and another girl (we'll call her Robin as an alias) were talking about me in Spanish class today because of what happened with Brad. Robin said that she was tired of me breaking up with him and going back out with him again. I am upset about this because there was a "guy" with whom Robin went out with and broke up with many more times than I have with Brad. I thought that what she said was hypocritical. Also, JoAnna supposedly has been talking about me behind my back for a long time because ... drumroll please!... she likes Brad! She even asked him out when we broke up! I THOUGHT THAT THESE PEOPLE WERE MY FRIENDS!!!! Oh well, I know who my real friends are. ERG! That still makes me mad though!

Well lately...I've been playing basketball at the YMCA. Our last game was yesterday, though. Didn't go to well, either. Referee trouble the went against us...oh well.
Softball starts soon and I HOPE HOPE HOPE I make the team. There are probably 40 girls signed up to try out. *Gulp*.
Right now nothing is happening though. In a few minutes, Lorny should be here to pick me up so we can go do community service for church. Regular blogging will resume shortly!!!!!

I had a really good day yous peoples!!!! Well...
In Reading...we read...what else? Not much. Rae wrote me a not in my agenda (before class, of course, because we're good little girls) and she said she missed hanging out with me. *tear tear* I didn't *tear tear* know she felt *tear* that way! In ELA we went to the library to work on our poetry packets. Everyone except me hates the poetry unit. I love it. I love writing poetry. And reading it. I'm almost done with my packet...
In Science...I had waaaay too much fun. Isn't there a law against having fun in school? I think there is. You people had better not turn me in!!
In Social Studies ("Soc" as Lorny likes to call it) We learned. We had to take a quiz. I didn't think it was that hard. *Phew!*
Lunch was kind of weird. George came up to me and was like "So-and-so thinks you're hot" and I said "Okay then." Now this So-and-so is nice, but seeing as I do not like multiple people, it was sort of well....unwelcome. Summer and Lorny were like "You should have to George to tell So-and-so you love him" except I DON'T love So-and-so and Lorny to Kyle to tell So-and-so this. Weird.
Band-Played for five to ten minutes...then watched Fiddler on the Roof. Now Tevia's third daughter got married to the Russian dude and everyone in the village must leave!!!
In math...nothing.
In 'le francais'...talked about food...in french of course.

After school I said, "Mom, can me and Mari and Lorny and Sarah and Markie and Lindsey and everybody go to the movies tonight?" We went. Well, minus Lindsey...and add Kim G. (who rocks) Harrison, and Tyler. SOMEONE couldn't come because he didn't answer the phone!! We saw "Glory Road", which is like, the best movie I have ever seen. I want to go see it again. But I probably won't. But I am buying it as soon as it comes out on DVD. EVERYONE NEEDS TO GO SEE THIS MOVIE!!!! OOOOOH, Funny story: Okay, I bought Snowcaps before the movie. Well, I had one in my hand and I forgot about it. My hand was resting on my leg and all the sudden, I move my hand and I feel something...gushy...mushy...smells like...chocolate!!! The Snowcap MELTED IN MY HAND!!! Boy, did I feel stupid!!!

Oh! So much fun today!!
Well...it started in ELA...well really nothing at all happened there...
Then in Social Studies I sang this song in front of the whole class because we had to write a song, poem, or newscast on the French and Indian war. Boy, was that funny. It was Alex's birthday today, so he got made fun of extra by Queen of Social Studies!
Then lunch was just weird...
In band we played for five minutes then resumed watching Fiddler on the Roof...which I really like actually. We're at the part where the third daughter wants to marry the Russian guy...
In Math we added, subtracted, multiplied, and divided!!!
In French we started learning how to talk about food. I know: essential skill that we should have learned the very first day.
In Enrichment I found out that Brad played a joke on someone whose name shall go unmentioned here and told her that he liked her (which of course, he doesn't) and now she thinks that he likes her but of course, he doesn't, because he likes me. DUH! It's funny how funny people can be. I mean honestly! Some people are just soooo oblivious to other peoples' girlfriends! Ha, Ha, Ha!!!
Art: Yay!
Report cards: mine was good and I even brought up my not-all-that-great Health grade!! But others were not as lucky. Like Brad got an 88 in Reading and I guess now he's going to be in trouble because his dad doesn't approve of anything below a 90. Oh dear. Well...I haven't heard from him since he got home from school...did you check the children?
After school I had the Quiz Bowl. Lorny, Sarah M, and I were on a team and we got the highest score. That's kind of surprising seeing as we're...well...unfocused! We had fun just the same.
After Quiz Bowl I went to Lorny's to work on our science fair project. I will not release at this time what it is so that no one can steal our idea, but I think that it's kinda good! I really don't want to sound conceited!!! And we talked to Sarah on the phone for a little while...what a hoot! Okay listen to this. Lorny and I were sitting in her bedroom and working on our abstract when we heard "Americans choose Chevrolet more than any other brand..." and we freaked out! But it was just this thing on her computer that we were loading...
Now I'm just sitting here! But I just got a letter from my friend...whose name is coincidentally Katie, too! So I'd better go read that and do the rest of my homework!!!! ADIOS AU REVOIR!!

Mornin'
Well really its not the morning...oh who cares? It occurred to me just a second ago that my blog is really boring. I mean, why else would everyone not come! If it was interesting...people would come! Maybe its all the cheesey Napoleon stuff. You know, I'm not like, in love like obsessed with him that much...I mean I love that movie but...not any more than you or you or you! I'm getting rid of Napoleon and including more of the interesting things in my life that I keep confidential.
First thing first, I cheated on my Social Studies test today.
OH take a chill pill I DID NOT!!! What do you take me for anyways???? GOSH! OK. So....
This week there were a lot of assemblies. Well...OKAY there were two. But most weeks there aren't any, OK? Well assemblies, yeah. On Monday I...did nothing. I had OotM after school and Mrs. B told us about her "MC Hammer pants", but really, self-explanitory there! Then I went to Mari's......FIRST BAND CONCERT!!! Woo! Woo!
Tuesday was a little more interesting. Okay, I lied. Had OM after school...nothing else happened.
Wednesday was when the realy action kicked in. Not really. Went to school and then to Quiz Bowl practice with...LORNY AND SARAH M YAY! After went to Boys 7th Grade Mod. Basketball game..they won...Brad thought he stunk...I told him to shove a sock down his throat but OF COURSE, he didn't listen to me! Why listen to me? I don't know! Well after the game I had to go straight to YMCA Basketball practice...then home...then bed!
Yesterday...went to school then went home then went to the YMCA...while TJ had his practice. Basically it. Really. Except my thigh muscles are all burnt out and I think it's from this lift machine Lauren Sag showed me...but really...who cares?? Not you, obviously!
Today. Well. Before lunch I had Science and I was supposed to have lessons except all band lessons were cancelled. And yet, Lorny shows up to class with her flute (flutes and oboes have lessons together because the oboes aren't special enough to have their own lesson group. *Grumble*) and I tell her that we don't have lessons, they're cancelled. And she says something like oh darn now I have to carry my flute to lunch! (Lorny doesn't stop at her locker before lunch to drop off her stuff.) So I graciously offer (since I am such a caring friend) to put her flute in my locker, since I stop there before lunch to pick up my ID card. Well, I go to my locker after class and put her flute on the top shelf and, lo and behold, her flute jams my locker. Little did I know, because I am just an uneducated oboe player, that you are supposed to deposit the flute into your locker up and down, not from side to side! So no, it was not Lorny's fault. Although she felt horrible. But after band she tried to open my locker. She told me to put in my combination, and I did. She lifted the latch and it opened! I was just amazed! But who cares? Not You!!!
Then tonight I was going to go to the movies but my mom said no, which was OK. I went to Mari's and her dad was taking me home. But first we had to take Alli uptown so she wouldn't miss her bus to go to a hockey game in Buffalo. Then after we dropped her (two minutes late) Mari's dad said he was hungry, so we went to Friendly's. It was freezing in there and we were not hungry after eating dinner, but this guy brought us ice cream on the house anyways and I thought that was really nice, and I ate it all up! (It was gooood too!)

Sorry I haven't posted all week...blah blah blah...but atleast I am posting now!!
OK so on Monday...I went tubing with Markie because it was MLK day!! Woot Woot!
On Tuesday I didn't want to be at school, but somehow I was. Doesn't that stink??? Yeah I know it does. After school I had OotM and an orthodontist appointment and basketball pictures all basically at the same time. Yay! (Oh yeah and our basketball team BROKE the camera! Ha Ha Ha.)
Wednesday was the first day of testing. Other than that, nothing really happened.
On Thursday was still testing and it was fun. Yay.
Friday was Friday...but really nothing happened. Friday night was our basketball party, to which a few people did not come. Erg. Well we had fun, except I had to leave early on Saturday to go to my basketball game, which we lost.
Now you can see why I didn't post all week long. Nothing happened.
